HYDRAULIC EXCAVATOR OPERATOR

Responsibilities:

• Control the hydraulic excavator to perform tasks like digging, trenching, grading, and loading materials.
• Use various attachments, such as hydraulic hammers, for specialized tasks.
• Operate equipment safely in various terrains and tight spaces.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and daily safety and maintenance inspections.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to keep the machine in proper working condition.
• Report any machine malfunctions or issues to supervisors.
• Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and site instructions.
• Clear construction sites of debris and obstructions.
• Monitor and inspect excavation sites for potential hazards, such as underground utilities or unstable soil.
• Collaborate with other construction crew members and supervisors to ensure an efficient workflow.
• Communicate clearly with the team and follow instructions effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including equipment usage, materials handled, and tasks completed.
